ELIGIBILITY _____ initial
 Products carried by the Exhibitors must be high quality and original in concept, design, and execution. Entries are judged on quality, creativity, and originality.
Unacceptable items commercially manufactured items, imports or mass produced.
Exhibitors shall exhibit only work typified by the photos presented to the Society and in the category in which they were accepted. Final interpretation of commercial status will be made by the Society Rules Committee. ANYONE IN VIOLATION WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE FESTIVAL WITHOUT REFUND OF ENTRY FEE.

EXHIBIT SPACE _____ initial
Arts and Crafts exhibit spaces measure 10 feet deep by 10 feet wide. No utilities are provided, No generators allowed. Electric hook-ups for food vendors only. Work and personal belongings, such as tables, chairs, and boxes, must be contained within assigned space.
Exhibitors are required to bring their own canopy or freestanding display that will withstand wind, rain, and crowds. Plastic coverings are important, as there is no shade and always a chance of rain. Display or canopy must not exceed the 10' X 10' space.

RULES _____ initial
Absolutely no pegs or nails can be driven into paved streets under any circumstances. Exhibitors must clean up their space at the end of the show Sunday. DO NOT LEAVE TRASH IN OR AROUND BOOTH AREA.
Exhibitors must show and be present during the complete show from 10:00 AM to 6:15 PM on Saturday and from 12:00 noon to 5:15 PM on Sunday, Do not break down prior to 5:00 PM on Sunday. Break down prior to 5:00 PM on Sunday will disqualify you from any future festivals.
THERE WILL BE NO PARKING ON THE STREETS BY ORDER OF THE COUNTY SHERIFF. VIOLATORS WILL NOT BE INVITED BACK. CHHS vendors must park in designated parking areas, NO PARKING IN EXHIBIT AREAS.
Pets are discouraged and MUST BE KENNELED IF BROUGHT.
Festival workers are all volunteers. Any disrespect shown to festival workers will cause you to be disqualified from future festivals.

ENTRY PROCEDURES _____ initial
New and Returning exhibitors shall submit this application, money order for booth fees of $210, payable to the Chappell Hill Historical Society, and 3 color photos of products. (No slides or Polaroid, No Product)

Returning exhibitors are not guaranteed entry into the festival and are not guaranteed the same booth space if accepted. Every attempt is made to give returning exhibitors their previous space, but circumstances may arise to prevent this.

SELECTION / NOTIFICATION _____ initial
All applicants will be judged by members of the Vendor Selection Committee. Entries will not be considered if they do not comply with the rules of this application. Entries will be considered solely on the merits of work pictured in the photos sent with this application or for previous festivals. Please do not send samples of your work.
Participation in the Society’s last Festival in no way insures acceptance for this Festival. However, if accepted, vendors having participated in prior Festivals will be given preferential booth assignments. Because of the large number of applications processed, no conversation will be entered into regarding the decision of the committee.
Acceptance notification will be mailed as applications are judged and accepted. The booth fee and new photos will be returned to applicants who are not accepted at this time.

An accepted application is a commitment to show and NO BOOTH REFUNDS WILL BE MADE, NO EXCEPTIONS.
